Meet Pastor Cory.
Cory came to Rabbit Creek in 2010 from Tyler, Texas, where he'd served as Associate Pastor. Before that he spent eight years in Christian camping ministry across Louisiana, New Mexico, Maryland, and Arkansas. He graduated from Louisiana College and studied at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and Wayland Baptist University.
Cory and his wife Lori have been married since 1996 and have four forever children, plus a rotating family of foster kids who've shaped them deeply. He loves cooking, camping, coffee, and all things tech.
Here's what to expect.
1. Entrance
Come in through the main double doors. The building seats about 65-70, so we run two services to make sure there's always room. A greeter will meet you inside.
2. Dress
Come as you are. No dress code. No pressure.
3. Length
About an hour of teaching, worship, and community.

Small enough that someone notices when you walk in.
Huffman runs two services with 65 to 90 people combined. When you show up for the second time, somebody's going to know your name. That doesn't happen at every church.
This is the easiest place in Anchorage to find your footing and figure out your God-given role. Strong community. Strong volunteerism. If you want your kids on the worship team before they're in high school, this is where that happens. If you've never been to church before — or if church hurt you — Huffman is a lower-stakes place to start.
It's less formal than Hillside. There's no dress code, no expectation, and nobody's watching to see if you do it right. Just come.
Your kids are safe, loved, and having way more fun than you did at church growing up.
Kids ministry is available for babies through 5th grade every Sunday — except the 2nd Sunday of the month, which is Family Sunday. On Family Sunday, everyone worships together (babies through age 3 still have a nursery available).

High school Life Groups meet here.
On Tuesday nights, our high school Life Group meets at the Huffman campus from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Heavy snacks are provided — so students can grab dinner at the Hillside campus first or just show up here and eat. Runs September through May.
We'd love to meet you.
Whether you have questions before your first visit or just want to know more, reach out. We're real people.
